Bucky Evans

Bucky Exe-Evans is recognized as one of the prominent voices advocating for women’s rights and gender equality.

She is a GEM Mentor, an entrepreneur, a columnist for the Business and Financial Times Newspaper and a TV show host for a new show dubbed “TheGEMCode Live”; a program that mentors, educates, inspires and inform GIRLS in order to transform them into Great Women of Excellence and Power House Leaders.

She is the Director of Operations at Girls Excellence Movement (GEM) where she is
responsible for overseeing the development and execution of all projects deliverables which includes but not limited to;
~Planning and successfully executing monthly INSPIRATION ON WHEELS (IOW) outreach programs to high schools, prisons, orphanages and local communities.
~Conducting quarterly orientation program for new volunteers
~Training new volunteers and assigning roles.
~Leading fundraisers and grant sourcing and sponsorship avenues for GEM.
~Communicating clearly, crafting statements carefully, answering questions and inform the public about the NGO.
On the GEM-IOW train, Bucky has mentored over 5000 girls and counting.

Bucky is also the Founder and General Manager for The Good Food Company, a small start-up Agro-company. A Partner of GAP Auto Services Limited, Corporate Relations Manager for Executive Projects and Protocol Gh, Executive board member for Exe Tours and Consultants, A CCID Fellow, An Alumni Business Advisory Board Member for ENACTUS Ghana and recently won the ENACTUS Ghana Best Alumni Award, 2020. She has over 5 years experience in corporate marketing.

During her CCID scholarship Exchange Program at Northampton Community College where she studied Architecture, She had the honor to be elected as the Vice President for the International Students Organisation (ISO) and received an outstanding volunteer service award endorsed by the former U.S. President, Barack Obama due to her numerous volunteer activities.
Ms Evans recieved a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Institute of Commercial Management, Bournemouth England.

Bucky is Currently enrolled at the Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science and Technology-KNUST, studying Construction Technology and Management.
She considers herself a versatile individual with a keen interest for girl child development.

Excellent at multitasking, she loves gardening and traveling with her family.
