Overview
We designed the annual National Girls Leadership Excellence Summit to empower girls by providing them with the opportunity to interact and learn from successful women leaders across various sectors including entrepreneurship, education, politics, architecture, engineering, law, and more. This initiative recognizes the critical role of mentorship and exposure in shaping the aspirations and career aspirations of girls, aiming to bridge the gender gap in leadership positions across industries.
Objectives
Encourage girls by showcasing the achievements of women leaders, thereby motivating them to aspire to leadership roles in all fields including STEM.
Provide practical insights into various career paths, including the challenges and opportunities they present.
Facilitate networking opportunities for girls with professionals and mentors in their fields of interest.
Equip participating girls with leadership skills and confidence through workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions.

Summit Details
Pre-Summit Workshops and a series of online workshops leading up to the Summit to prepare girls and gather insights on their interests and needs.
Career Fair with booths for each industry represented, allowing for direct interaction between participating girls and professionals.
Panel Discussions and Keynote Speeches featuring successful women from various fields to share their journeys, challenges, and advice.
Interactive breakout sessions focused on skill-building, leadership training, and personal development.
Post-Summit Engagement to establish a mentorship program to continue the support and guidance for participants beyond the summit.
Fundraising and Awards Dinner to recognize the achievement of excelling girls and women as well as our volunteers. The night is also used to raise funds towards future events.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Pre- and Post-Summit Surveys assess changes in participating girl's perceptions, knowledge, and aspirations.
Feedback Forms to collect feedback from both participating girls and speakers to evaluate the effectiveness of sessions and overall summit experience.
Follow-up studies to track the long-term impact of the summit on participants' academic performance, career paths, and leadership development.
